I’m Jarrod, best known for my highly detailed floral oil paintings and monochrome woodblock-print-style fantastical illustrations. I also like to make watercolor digital paintings.

At the core of my work is a passion for stories, particularly stories for children; as well as books, especially the old kind with brown fibrous pages and a well-developed smell. I love fairy tales, fantasy, daydreams, adventure, magic, distant lands, journeys, strange creatures, foreign shores, wizards, and animals who can speak; I like them even better if they can perform martial arts.
